We have a DX3S as well as a DX8 and DX6. This joins them as both an upgrade and additional controller, and I'm very happy with the improvements they've made over the earlier DX3. Physically it balances a little better and the odd-looking steering wheel position is actually much better because it's in the center of gravity, so it's much more neutral. On the electronic side it looks like they included a lot of the high-end features in my DX8, such as mixes and other advanced features. Telemetry is finally included, unlike the original DX3R. The screen is lighted, which is something I've always wished for in my DX3S.
