Review : Simple fun for the dinosaur lover in your family!
I purchased this for my 3 1/2 year old nephew at Christmas. After all the wrapping paper was ripped from the packaging, the fun began. I can say I was kinda surprised with the quality of the item, being a lot more sturdy and well finished than I anticipated.
After we popped in the batteries in the remote and dino itself we were off to the kitchen for a hard floor. After turning the dino on and placing it on the floor, we noticed it spinning in place. After my nephew yelling it was broken I pressed the button on the remote and the dino took off!
Basically the spinning motion is to "aim" the dino, and pressing and holding the button sends him off in that direction. It was actually kinda cool since my nephew caught on really quick and enjoyed the speed and motion.
The toy seems pretty well built, and the soft foam coating is a nice feature for both kids, and your furniture! I think the only thing I would add to this toy is dino sounds, but that's a...
