was buying a frozen pizza for dinner tonight, when I saw this on the hook in the isle at the stop and shop across from where I live. snagged two on a lark as I'd been looking for a while.
the whole snap together customization never even figured into the purchase, though, I was pleasantly surprised when I got home, and took it out of the package.
course, getting it out took a bit of wiggling, and it flew out and landed on the floor, course, I saw the wheel pop off and thought I'd broke it.
that's when I discovered the snap together aspect of the toy. made repairs a literal snap.
in the movie, when bruce wayne is first introduced to this vehicle, it's called 'the tumbler' and is built to take abuse, given what we see him put the vehicle through in batman begins, and later on in the dark knight. the fact the toy is apparently the same way earns major kudos to whoever designed the toy.
