We love our plan toys fire truck! I have three boys (ages: 4, 3, and 5 months). I love that this toy is safe for all of them to use. I don't have to worry about the baby mouthing it because it's made from soy based paint. The paint is manufactured in South Korea. Not one iota of this has been made in China.
My oldest is so rough on his toys! My husband laughed when he saw I bought this for a Christmas presant for the three year old. He said, the oldest will break that in a day. It took three months for him to break the hose. I'm telling you it is NOT the manufacturer's fault my son pulled and pulled on it trying to completely pull the mechanism out of the truck for three full months. Finally, it gave in. We can manually fix the hose.
This is the one toy they constantly play with. They love making the sounds of the engine. And, I find that less annoying than the Tonka that makes all kinds of noises. The driver's wheel actually moves and I'll catch them *driving*...
