Review : From 4 to 6 to 28 to 39 to 44 years of age! We loved it!
I bought 3 sets from a WOOT deal. I gave 2 to my nephew (4 years old) today and we built a mega track with them. He played with it with his sister (6) and his dad (43) and we all got a turn (28, 39) and loved it. You can go at normal speed and if you do, you will at times fly off the track. This is a good thing! It means your players have to learn how to control the car slowing down and speeding up at times. Wow, it's not mindless. That's novel. ;-) and it adds to the excitement for the kids when one car flies off the track on turn 15 and opens up the lead to the other car. There is also a turbo boost button for when they get really adept. This would probably be best suited for the straightaway and likely, the single kit is too short for this (but who knows). There is a counter for each car so you can have a 40 lap race easily. It's really great fun and it put me in super duper auntie status.
