I'm not sure I understand the prior reviews of this toy. My son (2 and a half) got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it. McQueen is not all that fast, true, but my son doesn't mind (and that is really what matters, not whether "adults" think it is fast). He and my daughter (6) play with this toy for hours at a time without fighting, which is stunning in and of itself. I have heard some say that the quality of this toy is not as high as other geotrax sets. That may be true -- the waterfall/mountain is just a piece of thin plastic -- but I think the quality is ok. My 2-year old is pretty hefty, and he is stomped on it and fallen over it, and nothing has broken yet.
